- Managed a business-consulting firm providing a wide range of services including development of program and operational strategies, business plan development, and training.
- Served as a City Department Director for 2 Mayors directing the start up of new departments responsible for law enforcement, treatment and prevention activities related to substance abuse. Managed 7 professional staff and 2 million in federal and states grants.

- Effectively managed and directed 20 educators, librarians, and media specialists in expanding educational content by 566 headings and 6736 websites, approximately 5-6% growth in less than 6 months.
- Significantly improved quality of educational on-line services through training, monitoring, releasing consultants and hiring new consultants. Introduced new products and concepts including "Best of the Web" Contest results and newsletters for communicating to consultants and customers.
- Administered and provided clinical direction to a new and creative extended care facility for dually diagnosed clients. Supervised 14 clinical and non-clinical staff with a budget exceeding one million dollars.
- Developed and implemented marketing campaign for an Executive Career Management firm.
- Directed Federal program, which included establishing goals and objectives for this new division within HHS, supervising 13 FTE expert professionals and managing a $10 million dollar budget.
- Directed the operations and management of a vocational school and job placement service with over 900 graduates per year with 100% placement. Operations included 35 people and a budget of one million dollars.
- Created and administered a community improvement grants program. Funded 54 programs, which significantly changed community substance abuse prevention activities.
- Successfully negotiated and awarded three major federal contracts providing technical support to hundreds of communities and cities across the nation.
- Negotiated and managed 5 Federal contracts to provide informational services on a national level.
- Administered 60 community and state grants.
- Trained, qualified and served as a Federal Government Project Officer (GPO).
Training and Instructional Design
- Designed, managed, and implemented a safety and orientation training program for employees assigned
- to DELL, Inc. $250,000 decrease in Worker's Compensation claims within first 90 days.
- Developed and authored a training manual for Spherion @ DELL supervisors including detailed guidelines for orientation, management, and specific human resources issues.
- Developed and authored an Employee Handbook for Spherion employees assigned to DELL, Inc.
- Designed, conducted and analyzed original research project for Doctoral dissertation, (published).
- Taught college-level psychology and speech and initiated curriculum development for new college courses of studies.

- Co-authored the composition of 100 public service announcements and managed critical components for taping of public service announcements by 15 country music stars in cooperation with TNN.
- Assisted in the development and implementation of a nationwide substance abuse reduction strategy, which included the design and coordination of a major nationwide media campaign.
- Developed agenda, materials, and directed a Capitol Hill briefing involving Congress and the Administration.

- Co-authored article which was awarded the 2007 Technology and Learning Award of Excellence for educational on-line services.
- Created and hosted radio program "Community Events Network."
- Created, directed, and hosted 2 cable television shows in 2 different cities titled: "Nashville Action" and "Annapolis Fights Back."
